Update

OK, I know, it's been a long time. I've had other interests lately. So I'll just put up some new video taken with my new camera. These are from our walk on Christmas day with our holiday sweaters.

Everybody was there today.

Just your normal Christmas day.

Indian Head May 22, 2010

For those of you not on Facebook, here are some pictures from the first hike of 2010.

The summit attempt begins.

Into the wilderness.

The team works hard to climb the ridge.

Three members of the summit team, Kristin, Donna and Max (Bill and Bodog not pictured).

It was a bit overcast, some bugs, protection needed. A little cool on top after a while, but nice view of southern-most Franconia Notch.

And this is a picture of Kristin, on Indian Head, holding a picture of Kristin, on Indian Head. Just think of the implications if we make this an annual hike.

So as long as we're talking hiking, here's an old video from Huntington ravine on the side of Mt Washington in September of '08.

Who wants to do Huntington Ravine?

Clouds and squirrels

When walking the dogs over in the condo's after work, sometimes there are some interesting sunsets and stuff. We won't be playing at the condo's much now, the owners are allowed back in, our season is over. Now we'll have to walk up the path and into the park for the summer. And see all those 'other people'.
Don't you just hate it when you can't reach the squirrel? Buckley does.

It's like he's intentionally trying to taught poor Buckley, flapping his tail like that!

It's not easy being Buckley.

And here's video of us playing, probably for the very last time in Morris and Maryanne's backyard. They are supposed to be back from Florida today, and plan on selling their house this year. No more having an extra play area all winter, and no more cutting through their yard to get to the condo's. Sigh.

Easter Sunday 2010

Today was such a nice day that Max took his first dip in the ocean this year while Donna was at the Celtics game. Buckley and Bo got a little wet too. Buckley really wanted to go in, I had to keep holding him back. Unfortunately, we didn't have the camera with us so we don't have any proof. We didn't plan to go swimming, but the tide was just right....., on a sunny afternoon....., with plenty of time to dry off in the warm spring air..... How could we resist?
The first picture could be called "Buckley, the flying Nun". or "Buckley, the Egyptian"?
The second picture is what I see as I turn the corner to go upstairs and is titled, 'What are you waiting for?:Two dogs who want to go for a walk'.
It was sooooo nice today that it was hard to believe that earlier this week, our backyard looked like this:

And then they had the nerve to come inside the fence.

Until we scared them away with all our voyeurism.

It's been a while so I thought I'd throw

some pictures up here, just to let you know we're still here. First a nice shot across the bay towards Ipswitch.
And here I am trying out a new dog bed. When you can't feel your back end, only the front end has to be comfortable.
Anybody remember this location? I'll give you a hint. It's some place south of New England.

No, Donna didn't add any more animals to our menagerie. But nothing gets my goat more than losing the electricity. I HATE when that happens. And it happened just over a week ago. Check out the video of the ocean here on Friday when the power was out from that windy storm.
Well, sorry, but the video upload ain't working tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

New Year's Day - Buckley plays Keep-away

Here are some videos of us playing on the first day of 2010. It was a little late in the afternoon so the lighting isn't that great. But we all had a good time.

The other dogs are always running after the ball and I just follow along, stopping to smell all the interesting spots, of course. And then I decided that I was going to take control.

And they thought I would be fooled if they just left me alone for a while, or if they talk nice to me. They are so dumb! I have decided. They just don't understand the tenacity of a terrier.

I win! Happy New Year everybody!
